Now… excess moisture is the cause of many problems.

• Foremost is that it is the excess moisture that attracts and circulates allergens. These allergens are the cause of health problems like Asthma, Skin irritation, allergies, itching etc. Keeping the moisture in your room under control will substantially reduce these allergens and therefore minimize these problems.
  
  
• Another common moisture problem are the mold stains, spots, and fungus films that form on your walls, curtains, upholstery, clothes, documents, shower curtains, leather, shoes, bags etc. especially in high moisture and less ventilated areas. DampRid’s researched formula is processed to effectively absorb Excess moisture, however, when the humidity reaches an optimal level (of around 50%) DampRid slows down and then restarts when the humidity increases again. This does not allow the air to get excessively dry.

The only other options to reduce moisture are an Electric Dehumidifier or the common use of Silica Gel.
